Silver class in excellent condition, made by Rudolf Karneth with steel pin and hook, this example seems to be a mongrel! it has all the characteristics of this maker including the flaw variation 4 on pages 373 and 368 in Philippe De Bocks book, the only difference is the crimp, this is the same as the one shown on page 383 by an unknown maker, AS in a triangle, and the hook looks as if it has been reinforced, it could be a mix of two makers with one running short of stock to fuifill an order and buying from the other to complete the order or it could be a trial or prototype piece, interesting
